The Naming Game

hello from TO. I'm still here... for another busy week. Just finished the tradeshow I was at, and am now preparing for 3 days of meetings. I'm already longing for Friday when I get a break.

At the pet trade show I was exhibiting, I picked up a new pet!! I need some help naming him/them (which is correct?). Any suggestions? Has to be a strong name, as this particular creature strikes fear and loathing into other things (mostly insects ;)
My new pet is about the most exciting thing that's happened in the last 2 days. Tomorrow I drive the 401 for the first time in my life. Will be curious to see how this prairie girl fares on Canada's busiest highway.

I think you should name each toothy blossom.

My vote = irish, of course!

Lorccan (no typo, with an accent over the 'a') lol!

Means "little fierce one", derived from Irish Gaelic lorcc "fierce" combined with a diminutive suffix. This was the name of a 12th-century archbishop of Dublin.

OR

Odharnait

Means "little pale green one", derived from Irish odhra "pale green, sallow" combined with a diminutive suffix.

OR

my personal fave that has nothing to do with your new pet:

Toirdhealbhach (pronouced "Turlock")

Means "instigator", derived from Gaelic toirdhealbh "prompting".
